The man behind Pins

I live and work in Eastern Washington. I was born in Yakima and now live in Kennewick. I have a BA in Art from the University of Washington and a MA/TESOL from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, CA. The main focus of my art has been working with the flow of liquids on glass. I have shown my work in juried shows around Eastern Washington and am represented in several business and private collections.

I am also an Associate Professor, teaching English as a Second Language to adults from around the world at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA.

This will be my third trip to Black Rock City. Last year I was able to build and bring an installation called Wind Watchers which stood just to the right of the Concourse as the the last piece before the Temple of Transition. The lessons learned from that experience are guiding me to create and deliver Pins for 2012.
